*This year, in addition to learning about the ancient world, were going to be looking at the geography of the world! The way I hope to do this is by looking mostly at the places you and your family have been! Whether you've traveled all the way to Australia, across the United States, or locally in New Hampshire- I want to hear about your favorite places. We will display pictures and captions of these destinations on our "Explorers Across the World" bulletin board throughout the year!*
9/19 - 9/23
This week will be starting to use Google Classroom for some of our assignments. Students should have their milfordk12.org log-in and password. I will post directions and FAQs on the Google Classroom Tab up above.
Students will also be taking their European Geography Quiz and beginning our study of Ancient Greece! Students will be discovering the location/geography of ancient Greece and how that affected daily life.

This week students have been working hard to complete maps of present day Europe. We have used atlases and classroom maps to find countries and their capitals as well as important physical features including mountain ranges, rivers, and other bodies of water. Below is a list of the locations I expect students to study for their quiz next week- I do not expect them to study EVERYTHING they labeled on their maps!
